Dedication In October 1994, I began my employment at a textile manufacturing company in Goldsboro, North Carolina. During my time there, a coworker—who was also a young preacher—introduced me to the gospel of Jesus Christ. That moment marked the beginning of a positive transformation in my life. I could see a light shining at the end of the tunnel. With faith and a small seed of His word, I chose to pursue a deeper understanding of God and embrace this new way of life. Thanks to the strong spiritual foundation and insight I gained from being part of that church, my life has been renewed and refreshed.

Today, I understand more clearly why Jesus Christ came into the world—to offer hope, faith, and forgiveness—and how He accomplished this. As I matured spiritually, the Lord transitioned me to another ministry in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The senior preacher there was on a higher spiritual level than those I had previously known. Both churches had experienced the Holy Spirit’s fire, and under the powerful anointing of His Word, I was being transformed. The Lord blessed me in countless ways, filling me with hope and revealing His divine purpose for my life.

Introduction: Encourage Yourself Jesus is our Helper—guiding us through life's challenges, trials, and tribulations. In Jesus, you don’t have to worry about what tomorrow holds because He already knows. He stands as a support during difficult times, bringing hope, joy, and direction amid sorrow. He is also a Friend to the lonely and misunderstood—someone who comprehends your pain and helps you see the light at the end of the tunnel. If you have yet to accept salvation, I pray this book stirs within you a desire to be saved. Embarking on a journey to learn more about Jesus and the marvelous things He has done for you can be an exciting adventure.

The more you seek to know Him, the more you will discover about your vital life in Him. You don’t need to try to understand everything right away; He will begin revealing Himself to you as you continually seek Him and embrace His will for your life. As you grow in knowledge of Him, He will unveil truths about His kingdom. As believers, we are blessed with His grace because of His love for us. Even if you've faced hardships, made mistakes, or are currently struggling, know that you are in the perfect place with the Lord. Through repentance and the forgiveness of sins, you have opened a door to a new, better life with Him. He looks down from heaven and reaches out His hand to lift you from the depths of despair. He will place you in a safe and secure place, guiding you with His character and His Word. As He does, He will fill you with reassurance, joy, and victory. Hallelujah!
